Oregon Zoo 101-Endangered Species Day

he Oregon Zoo will be hosting special keeper talks and enrichment activities on some of the zoo’s more than 70 species on the endangered species list such as the African slender snouted crocodile. Here are some of the events:

10:30 am-Keeper talk at chimpanzee exhibit. Chimps will receive quilts and papier-mâché fruit baskets.
11 am-Keeper talk and crocodile feeding in the Bamba du Jon Swamp exhibit
12:30 pm-Keeper talk at the wolf exhibit. Wolves will receive papier-mâché rodents and birds.
