Endangered Species Day

USFWS will participate in a two-day celebration at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. Hands-on activities at the zoo on

Friday and Saturday include making endangered species bookmarks, and distributing

suggested reading lists of nature books; sponsoring a scavenger hunt for endangered species

that are in the zoo; In addition to the “Be A Bear Obstacle Course” featuring the Louisiana

black bear life history; and teach whooping crane origami and education.
