Endangered Species Day at Jordan Lake State Recreation Area

10:00 AM Wildlife Presentation
Join us for a wildlife presentation using skulls, tracks, pelts, and replicas including birds of prey and animals around Jordan Lake.  Presented by a member of the US Army Corps of Engineers staff.

10:30 AM Storyteller Marjory Moe
Marj learned the power of a good story from her grandmother.  Young and old alike will enjoy Marj's trickster tales and Native American porquio stories with an animal and nature focus.

11:15 AM Watersheds and Water Quality
Learn about watersheds, water quality, sources of pollution and their prevention through a presentation and hands-on demonstration by a member of the US Army Corps of Engineers staff.
Additional Information: Bring a blanket and picnic lunch to enjoy the outdoors after the event.
