ESD at the Staten Island Zoo

hinese alligators, Amur leopards, red pandas and Aruba rattlesnakes are very different creatures with one unfortunate thing in common: all are endangered species. In this program the Staten Island Zoo will help raise awareness of their plight and that of other threatened wildlife through a series of zookeeper talks, animal encounters and children’s craft activities. From 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 614 Broadway, Willowbrook, (718) 442-3100, statenislandzoo.org; free with admission: $8; $6 for ages 60+; $5 for ages 3 through 14; free for under 3 and members.
