The Chula Vista Nature Center brings visitors close to animals of southern California. Some of the plants and animals exhibited at the Nature Center are critically endangered – like the Light-footed Clapper rail, one of California’s rarest coastal birds. Come see the beautiful Clapper rail up-close and learn about conservation efforts being taken to restore their populations. See the young Clapper rails being reared at the Center.
Also meet some of the animals, like the National Bird of the United States – the majestic Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle once and Endangered Species, has recovered because of conservation efforts. The Bald Eagle is a wonderful reminder of what people can do to restore Endangered Species.
Come out and get wild with the Endangered Species and all the animals at the Chula Vista Nature Center. It is easy to get to and closer than you think – less than seven minutes from Downtown San Diego. |
